Sherrin Varghese Biography 
Sherrin Varghese is a singer and composer, who made his film debut as a music composer through the film, Double barrel in 2015. The movie starred the brothers - Prithviraj Sukumaran and Indrajith Sukumaran in lead roles aside Swathi Reddy. Sherrin was a member of the popular music band of early 2000s, A Band of Boys. It was one of the first Indian bands of this kind and the other members of the band were Sudhanshu Pandey, Siddharth Haldipur, Karan Oberoi and Chin2 Bhosle. The popular band composed songs for many private albums, apart from working together for the movie - Kiss Kis Ko (2004). Meri Neend Ud Rahi Hai… Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai – is among their popular songs. However the band got split and its artists pursued individual career. They are indeed successful as well.
Sherrin hails from Irinjalakkuda, Thrissur. The front man for Rubber Band, the music part of Shekhar Suman’s ‘Movers and Shakers’, their album ‘Gaane Bhi Do Yaaro,’ released in 2006 was also a reasonable success. He has dabbled with different genres of Indian entertainment including Indy pop, DJeeying, soaps, movies, theatre, rock music etc. He shot to fame after he was selected as one among the five members to form ‘A Band of Boys’ in 2001. It is the first boy-band in India. ‘Yeh Bhi Woh Bhi’ was the first music album released by this band, which was a huge hit. The track ‘Meri neend’ became an instant chartbuster.
He is fondly called Cherooke by his near ones. Though he hails from Irinjalakkuda, he spent most of his younger days in Mumbai. On the sets of ‘Movers and Shakers’, he happened to meet actor Mammootty who invited him to move back to Kerala. He is also associated with film scene. He along with band members played the lead roles in ‘Kiss kis ko’, a Bollywood film. He appeared in ‘68 Pages,’ a movie on the stigma of AIDS, in which he plays a gay man. He is also associated with theatre in Mumbai circle. He played the role of Simon in a Mumbai production ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’.
