Sheetal Khandal is a noted television actress associated with Hindi entertainment industry. She is best known for portraying the role of Gehna Basant Singh in the popular soap - Balika Vadhu— Kachchi Umar Ke Pakke Rishte. She replaced Neha Marda for the show. She is also a model who has appeared in many TV commercials, photo shoots and print ads before her television debut. She worked as part time model before her television career took off. She appeared in a popular brand commercial along with Aamir Khan.

Sheetal hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan. Since a child she dreamt to become an actress. She belonged to an orthodox family for which acting in films is a taboo. Yet she overcame those difficulties and entered entertainment industry. She started off as a part time model. Although her father did not support her acting career initially, he supported her gradually when Sheetal started receiving appreciation for her work. Her role as Gehna Basanth Singh in Balika Vadhu gave her a major break to her acting career. Strangely, she had been mistaken as Nivedita Kohli several times in the media for at least two years since she acted in the series, Balika vadhu. She was upset those days for being identified as another person.

She watches latest movies and dreams to work in Bollywood aside Amitabh Bachchan. She prefers to stay at home rather than going to partying. She loves spending her time in Indore and Jaipur. Listening music and reading novels are other hobbies. As per latest buzz, she has been finalized for the role of Angoori Bhabhi in the popular comedy series, Bhabhi Jee Ghar Par Hai. She replaced Shilpa Shinde in the popular show, after Shilpa walked out of the show. Shilpa auditioned for the show. This bubbly actress loves to play bubbly roles.
