Shashwat Sachdev Biography 
Shashwat Sachdev is a music composer and playback singer associated with Bollywood since 2017. He marked his debut as a music director through 2017 Anushka Sharma flick, Phillauri. Later he composed songs for 2018 movies, Kaalakaandi and Veere Di Wedding. The music of Anushka Sharma and Diljit Dosanjh starrer Phillauri has struck all the right notes in the hearts of the audience, and some of its popular songs include - "Dum Dum", "Sahiba", "Naughty Billo" and "Bajaake Tumba" sung by leading voices such as Diljit Dosanjh, Nakash Aziz, Pavni Pandey, Romy etc. Anushka Sharma also rendered her voice for its popular song, "Naughty Billo".
This music composer hails from Jaipur, Rajasthan. He started learning music at the age of three, and began with Hindustani classical vocals and rhythm, and later learnt Western classical piano during his school days. In 2011, he moved to Hollywood where he worked for a few projects and moved back. In 2017 he marked his Bollywood debut with Phillauri and its songs with Punjabi traits were well received by music lovers. He did two more movies later – Saif Ali Khan starrer Kaalakaandi and upcoming flick - Veere Di Wedding, starring Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. He composed the title track of Kaalakaandi.
Released songs of Veere Di Wedding include "Pappi Le Loon", "Bhangra Ta Sajda", "Bass Gira De Raja" and "Aa Jao Na" and all these songs have already hit the chartbusters of the year. The movie is slated for theatric release. He rendered his voice for all these 4 songs. "Bass Gira De Raja" is a solo track sung by the composer, while the rest are duets and party numbers. The movie also marked the debut of Shashwat Sachdev as a playback singer.
