Sharon Prabhakar Biography 
Sharon Prabhakar is a noted singer and theatre personality. She is also known as a public speaker. One of the experienced singers in the music field at present, she began her career in the 1980s and has completed three decades in this field. She also performs live and hosts many live events. She is also known as a dynamic event host associated with corporate world, also busy in training people. “Merry Go Round”, “Yeh Mera Dil”, “What a Wonder - EP” etc are some of her popular songs. She was formerly married to famous artist Alyque Padamsee. Actress Shazahn Padamsee is their daughter.
A well-established pop singer, she owns 11 private albums to her credit. Her popular album Dilruba won the New York Silver Award for creative brilliance. Sharon has represented India at various international pop festivals across the globe. She is currently associated with her debut stage production - ‘Legend Of Lovers’, that’s scheduled for July 2016.
She was formerly married to Alyque Padamsee, well known theatre personality and ad film maker. Noted actress Shazahn Padamsee was born in this wed lock. Sharon was the third and last wife of Alyque Padamsee, the celebrity known for troubled marriage lives. Noted artist and painter, Akbar Padamsee is her former brother-in-law. At present she is single.
She was born in Paris on August 04, 1955. Her father was a Punjabi, and mother, a Christian. She grew up speaking both English and Punjabi. She has one brother and one sister. Her mother was a music teacher at the All Saint’s boarding school in Nainital, where the three kids studied. Her parents had a turbulent marriage, and she quotes, her father was irresponsible while the three kids were brought up by the mother. Her father had a government job at Delhi and used to visit them in vacations. Brought up in Nainital, her life began in Mumbai. She started off her singing career at night clubs and very soon she pursued her career in music, for which she is popular till today.
