Sayanora Philip Biography 
Sayanora Philip is a successful south Indian playback singer who predominantly sings for Malayalam and Tamil movies. She is known for her association with Rahman, with whom she has done several stage shows. She has been associated with playback singing since 2004, and has completed more than a decade in the industry. Unarukayano and Nee Njangada from 2017 Malayalam film, Udaharanam Sujatha are her recent hits. She has sung some popular songs for Notebook, Vettam, Jo and the Boy, Manjupoloru Penkutti, Rani Padmini, Classmates, Pranayakaalam, Baahubali: The Beginning etc. She is mostly associated with western tunes.
Sayanora hails from Kerala. Kannur is her hometown. She was born on March 1, 1984 into a musical family in Kannur. She did her schooling in St. Teresa's Anglo Indian girl’s high school, and also took a professional degree from Sree Narayana College, Kannur. Since younger days she has been appreciated for her singing abilities. She has actively participated in school festivals and cultural events, and won many prizes since then. Currently she is settled with her family in Chennai. She is married to Winston Ashley de Cruz and the couple has one daughter. He was a trainer at gym in Kannur when Sayonara proposed him for marriage.
Sayanora has been a part of A. R. Rahman’s music troupe which conducted many Indian and international shows. She has been associated with several other cine artists too for stage performances. More than playback singing she achieved success through stage shows. She has been initiated to the world of Carnatic music at a very young age of 5, under the guidance of Balan Master. Sayanora gives the credit of her success in the field to the foundation she received through classical music learning. Her association with Rahman for world tours also helped her to gain popularity. She sang a duet, Athiradi with Rahman for Sivaji movie.
