Saurav Gurjar Biography

Saurav Gurjar is a professional wrestler, sportsperson and actor politician. He has been currently signed for WWE. He is a popular actor too, associated with Hindi television entertainment industry. He played the role of Bheem in 2013 Star Plus mythological series, Mahabharata. He mostly plays wrestler kind of roles on small screen, and a few include Ring Ka King, Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman and Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. He is also a part of Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, a reality show on talent hunt.

 

Saurav Gurjar was born on 5 June 1984 in Dabra, Gwalior. His Professional Wrestling career started in 2011. He participated in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling's India project, Ring Ka King, where he performed under the ring name Deadly Danda. It marked his Professional wrestling debut. The show was aired on Colors TV. He was a part of Jeff Jarrett heel stable RDX aside some leading names including Sonjay Dutt. Very soon he became a part of several TV mythological shows, and in most cases he portrayed mythological characters of good physique such as Bhima, Ravan etc.

 

As a television actor, he became extremely popular portraying the positive character of Bheema in 2013 mythological series, Mahabharata aired on Star Plus. Soon after, he concentrated on to his professional wrestling career. He also anchored one popular Indonesian show, The New Eat Bulaga! Indonesia. He was later seen in the show, Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan in 2016. Most recently he essayed the roles of Ravan and Vali in Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman. The show was aired on Sony TV, where he replaced Aarya Babbar as Ravan. As per latest bizz, he signed a contract with WWE, and they will give him training at Performance Center.
