Sargun Kaur is a film and television actress associated with Hindi entertainment industry. She predominantly works in Hindi television industry, and is best known for the role she played in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya series aired on Star Bharat. It’s her debut show on Indian television and she played parallel lead in this mystery show. She played the role of a village girl Gauri in the show. She has been active in theatre since her childhood days, before she started with TV shows.

Sargun Kaur was born in the year 1999 in Delhi. Her full name is Sargun Kaur Luthra. She belongs to a Sikh family, and her brother’s name is Harman Luthra. She completed her schooling in Guru Harkrishan Public School, New Delhi and graduation from Mata Sundri College, New Delhi. She has been associated with theatre before she moved to television. Sargun has worked as a model in the industry and appeared in TV ads such as Livon. Since childhood she dreamt to become an actress, and that’s why she dabbled with theater and TV shows, to make a mark as a successful actress.

She marked her television debut with 2017 show, Kaal Bhairav Rahasya. She shares screen space with Chhavi Pandey, Rahul Sharma and Iqbal Khan for this thriller series aired from 30 October 2017 to 30 April 2018 on Star Bharat. She played the parallel lead role of Gauri in this show. The actress had to she had to quit her psychology studies to pursue a career in acting. Acting has always been her passion. She auditioned 20 times for the show before she finally grabbed the role. She stayed in a village for a month to learn the mannerisms of a village girl, and the way they talk, as a part of the preparation of the role.
