Sam C. S Biography 
Sam C. S is a music composer and background scorer associated with Tamil cinema. This upcoming music director shot to instant fame after composing music of super hit neo-noir action thriller, Vikram Vedha released in 2017. He is originally from Munnar, Kerala. Sam is also a music producer, songwriter and singer based in Tamil. He marked his debut with Malayalam movies in year 2018 as the background scorer of blockbuster hit, Odiyan, starring Mohanlal. It’s one of the most expensive movies made in Malayalam.
Sam was born in Munnar, the beautiful hill station of Kerala. Since young he got drawn towards music, and has taken part in musical competitions. He completed both MCA and MBA from St. Joseph's College, Tiruchirappalli, and also worked in IT field for a few years before he decided to quit his job to pursue a career in music. Initially he worked for other music composers on background score and programming for movies.
As a music composer he got his first break through 2012 Tamil language period science fiction thriller Ambuli, for which he composed soundtrack aside K. Venkat Prabu Shankar, Sathish and Mervin Solomon. It was followed by 2016 Indian Tamil comedy film, Kadalai, and he turned a full-fledged composer composing all its tracks. Yet the movie which gave him the real break to his career was Puriyatha Puthir. He composed all its sound tracks.
Even while he composed film songs, he was quite busy with his parallel career composing tunes for jingles. After he scored music for Vikram Vedha in 2017, he rose to the league of successful and most sought music composers of the industry. Diya, Vanjagar Ulagam, Iravukku Aayiram Kangal, Adanga Maru, Lakshmi, NOTA, 100 etc are some of his works later.
