Rupali Ganguly Biography 
Rupali Ganguly is a successful television and theatre artist. She became popular with the serial, Sanjivani of Star Plus, followed by Sarabhai VS Sarabhai. She played the role of Monisha sarabhai in Sarabhai VS Sarabhai while she played the role of Dr. Simran Chopra in the popular serial, Sanjivani. She has also participated in reality shows Zara Nachke Dikha (Season 1), Bigg Boss and Fear Factor – Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2. Rupali got married to her longtime boyfriend, Ashwin K Verma in 2012, and in September 2013, she gave birth to a baby boy. Since he was born on Janmashtami day, she has named him, ‘Krishna’.
Rupali was born in 1977 in Kolkata. She is the daughter of acclaimed director Anil Ganguly, known for the Bollywood movies – Kora Kagaz and Tapasya. She started her career as a child artist for the movies directed by her father. Sahib happened to be her debut movie when she was only 7 followed by the excellent performance in Balidaan. In 2000, Rupali established an advertising agency in Mumbai. She anchors ‘Bioscope’ – a program on Doordarshan at 11pm since middle 2000’s. This program shows old classic Bollywood movies in three episodes shown on three consecutive nights. She also tells snapshot and interesting facts associated with the movie. She participated in the first season of Bigg Boss, where she was evicted as the 10th housemate.
Her popular television serials include - Parvarrish – Kuchh Khattee Kuchh Meethi, Zindagi...Teri Meri Kahani , Bhabhi, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi , Aapki Antara, Mujhe Meri Family Se Bachao, Kkavyanjali, Sanjivani, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Sukanya, Ek packet umeed, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, Adaalat and Baa Bahoo Aur Baby. She has also participated in reality shows like Kitchen Champion 2, Meethi Choori No.1, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 2 and Zara Nachke Dikha season 1. She has also appeared in a few movies in bit roles.
