Ritu Pathak Biography 
Ritu Pathak is a noted playback singer associated with Bollywood. She gained attention for the first time through the reality talent hunt show on Sony Television, Indian Idol, where she appeared as a contestant in season 2, aired during 2005-2006. Later she shot to fame after becoming one of the finalists of the talent hunt show, Fame X, aired on SAB TV. Among her Bollywood songs, Papa Jaag Jaayega from Houseful and Jalebi Bai from Double Dhamaal gave her a major breakthrough. Gandi Baat of R. Rajkumar, Allah Duhai Hai of Race 2, Radha Nachegi of Tevar, Cinema Dekhe Mamma of Singh is Bling, Hor Nach of Mastizaade and Palang Tod Naina of Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty are other major hits.
She was born on 4 September 1987. Ritu hails from a musical family of Gopalganj, Madhya Pradesh. Her father is a singer who plays for orchestras at small gatherings in their locality. Thus since young she got encouragement from her father. He also supported her to participate in reality shows. She is a trained Hindustani classical vocalist. She got noticed nationwide for the first time through the TV show, Indian Idol, and got recognition after she became the finalist of Fame X.
She got her first break to movies through Houseful in 2010. She rendered her voice for the song, Papa Jag Jaayega, which was a musical hit. She sang the song aside Alyssa Mendonsa and Neeraj Shridhar. She was given the first break by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. After that she has rendered her voice for several foot tapping numbers. Thank You, Singh Is Bliing, Katti Batti, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Double Dhamaal, Action Replayy, Grand Masti etc are some of the films with which she has been associated with. Her voice best suits for actress Sonakshi Sinha.
