Richa Bhadra Biography

Richa Bhadra is a popular television actress associated with Hindi television. She started her career as a child artist in Hindi shows when she played Hansa’s daughter in the very popular Hindi family show, Khichdi in 2002. She also appeared in the sequel of the same show, Instant Khichdi. She also played the role of Mitali Thakkar in the comedy television drama 'Baa Bahoo Aur Baby'. As an adult, she marked her debut with the television show, Mrs. Tendulkar, a comedy series aired on SAB TV. Her epic dialogue 'bade log, bade log' from "Khichdi" became quite popular.

As of now, Richa Bhadra has appeared in three Hindi television shows, of which both her roles as a child artist were in sitcoms that can be tagged as comedy family dramas. She played the role of Mitali Thakkar, the daughter of Paresh Ganatra and Vaishali Thakkar in the show, 'Baa Bahoo Aur Baby'.  She was seen as the daughter of Rajeev Mehta and Supriya Pathak in the family show, Khichdi, and both the series had ensemble cast of a large number of actors. After playing child actor role in both TV shows, she took a break from her acting career and continued with her studies.

Later she re-entered television through yet another comedy sitcom, Mrs. Tendulkar, on SAB TV in 2011. She played the supporting role of Mayuri Trivedi who she likes to do makeup and fashion. She played a teen romancing a boy called Prasad Pagare and the role was essayed by Vikas Patil. There was a buzz that Richa is also part of Hats Off’s untitled new show for Zee TV. She was doing her class 11 studies, when she appeared in Mrs. Tendulkar.
