Ravi Shukla Biography 
Ravi Shukla is an Indian singer and the winner of Amul Star Voice of India Season 2, aired on Star Plus in 2008. He emerged as the dark horse of the show, stealing everyone’s heart. Shukla won a cash prize of Rs 25 lakhs, a Chevrolet Spark car and a three-year contract with T-Series as the winner of the show. He was also a participant of the first season of both Indian Idol and Amul star voice of India, though got out in the early round.
Ravi Shukla was born on November 4, 1983 in Kolkata, West Bengal. He was born to the businessman Radhey Shyam Shukla and Santosh Shukla. He has 4 elder sisters. He schooled at Don Bosco High & Technical School, Liluah and completed graduation from St Xavier's College. He made an appearance in Indian Idol Season 1 – The first reality singing show on Indian television, aired on Sony television in 2004. But he didn’t gave up and did hard work to compete in the first season of Star Voice of India. Again, fortune didn’t knock his door. He also learnt classical music under Pandit Jayanto Bose and has been a part of many music concerts, as a preparation for Star Voice of India.
He participated in the second season of ‘Voice of India’ and he didn’t get appreciation of judges in the preliminary rounds. Like Abhijeet Sawant of Indian Idol Season 1, he too emerged as the dark horse of the race and emerged as the ultimate winner of the show. When he reached top 5, he worked hard and reached the destination. He competed with Saptaparna in the Grand Finale. Many often, his looks have been compared to Sonu Nigam. Sonu Nigam and Kunal Ganjawala are his favourite singers.
