Rajnigandha Shekhawat Biography 
Rajnigandha Shekhawat is a popular singer from Rajasthan, who sings folk songs as well as film songs. Her voice was featured in the title track of musical Bollywood film, Badrinath Ki Dulhania. "Aai's Aalaap" from Margarita with a Straw and "Tattoo" from Monsoon Shootout are her other Bollywood songs. She is a member of a royal family of Rajasthan, and currently a princess of estrwhile state of Malsisar Rajasthan. She has also released numerous mashup videos combining Rajasthani Folk and English songs. She mostly appears in traditional Rajasthani costumes while performing for mashup videos. In fact she is the only singer who performs mashup videos combining Rajasthani Folk and English songs.
Rajnigandha Shekhawat belongs to the erstwhile Aristocratic family of Malsisar in Jaipur. Despite being a princess, she broke all barriers of her class and caste to follow her passion of music. She is first ever singer from the very traditional and conservative Rajput community of Rajasthan. Following her heart, she has succeeded in her dreams and currently a well-known figure in the state of Rajasthan. Till now she has performed in more than 500 concerts and also released three albums. She has also performed in several major cities across the globe. She has also sung many jingles and film songs.
She is currently a Bollywood marketing professional also, who has been associated with Disney India, Times music etc. She has also collaborated with Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor in one such program. Most recently she rendered her voice for the new anthem of Indian Idol 10 called "Mausam Music Ka" and also the new Red FM jingle. She is nicknamed as "MahaRani of Mashups” by Rajasthani media. She shot to fame with her mash up - Cheap Thrills with Ghoomar, followed by Shape of you and Single Ladies.
