Raja Narayan Deb Biography 
Raja Narayan Deb is a music composer associated with Bollywood and Bengali cinema, who earlier was associated with Bangla music band “Parash Pathar". The band was quite popular in the late 1990s with Ayan Mukherjee the lead singer. He belongs to the royal family of Shobhabazar Rajbari. Apart from film score, he has also done background score for different languages, and most recently made a comeback after long 10 days through Malayalam film, My Story. As a music composer, Sangabora (2016) is his recent work, and currently he is working on the projects, Jodi Love Dile Na Prane and Andarkahini.
Raja Narayan Deb hails from West Bengal, and belongs to Shobhabazar Rajbari, the palace of the Shobhabazar royal family in Kolkata. He is married to Zeenia Roy. During his younger days he was associated with a Bengali pop band, Parash Pathar which reached new heights in the late 1990s. However as time passed by, it became tough for the band to stay at the top, and they decided to part. Though there were efforts to revive the group several times, nothing could save the sinking pop band. He was a keyboard player of band, and not currently associated with it.
As a music director, Raja Narayan Deb has worked for Bengali films like Khela, Shob Charitro Kalponik, Bhooter Bhabishyat and Ashchorjyo Prodeep to name a few. He has gained enough attention in Bengali cinema, though he is not fully active in industry right now. He is associated with Bengali film industry since 2008. Khela was his first film as a music composer. He has also rendered his voice for 2010 fiilm, Abohoman.
