Rahul Sharma (television Actor) Biography

Rahul Sharma is a popular Television Actor who played the role of Aakash Garg in Ek Ghar Banaunga and Raghav Roy in Ek Rishta Aisa Bhi. Rahul started his career through a recurring role in Teri Meri Love Stories, and later appeared in nearly 10 television soaps. He was most recently seen in Kaal Bhairav Rahasya, and currently appears in Mitegi Lakshman Rekha since 2018. Kahani Chandrakanta Ki, Tanhaiyan, Vighnaharta Ganesha, Dr. Madhumati On Duty, Satrangi Sasural etc are his other shows. He is associated with television industry since 2012.

Rahul Sharma was born on 24 November 1986 in Dausa, Rajasthan. His hometown is 50 kms away from Jaipur. About choosing a profession, this actor has always changed his ideas. After class 12, he wanted to take medicine. So he took science as optional subject. But later he changed his idea, and wanted to do MBA and even went to Jaipur to pursue his studies. However, he attended a 45 days NSD theater workshop, which changed his outlook towards career. The actor is happy that he chose acting as his profession, because as an actor he gets opportunity to play different kinds of roles. His father always wanted him to join a government job. Initially he didn’t support his son choosing a career in acting.

Rahul came to Mumbai in 2009, and since the following year he started looking for opportunities in the industry. One of his friends in Mumbai helped him in his efforts. Slowly and steadily he started getting contacts of the agencies who give work to newcomers. As he had no links with entertainment industry, he had to begin from scratch. He marked his television debut in 2012, and since then there was no turning back. He has a strong fan base too.
