Radha Mangeshkar Biography 
Radha Mangeshkar is a singer belonging to the family of great Mangeshkar sisters of Bollywood. Born as the youngest daughter of Hridaynath Mangeshkar, she is the niece of great legends and iconic figures of Indian cinema like Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosale, Usha Mangeshkar and Meena Khadikar, and the granddaughter of famous Hindustani vocalist Deenanath Mangeshkar. Indian vocalist Jitendra Abhisheki is also related to her family, as Abhisheki’s father was Deenanath’s half-brother. Radha Mangeshkar is an expert of Hindustani music and this talented artist belonging to a musically rich family has derived her own style and flavour.
Radha Mangeshkar was born on 29 July 1981 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Following the legacy of her family, famously known through her aunts - Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, Radha too chose music as her profession. Though she is less associated with playback singing, she has established her own style in Hindustani music, to create a legacy of her own. She regularly performs in different parts of the country, and also abroad. She performs mostly in Marathi.
She started musical journey started at a young age of 7, and her father Hridaynath Mangeshkar – famous vocalist and composer was her first guru. When she reached 9, she started sharing stage with her father for Bhavsargam performances. In the latter years she also performed ‘Shivkalyan Raja’, ‘Nakshatran che dene’, ‘Akshay Gane Abhanga Gane’, Dil ki Nazar se’, ‘Didi ani Mi’ etc. She has also collaborated with many artists like Hrishikesh Ranade for her performances. She knew it well 'Mangeshkar' surname brings in comparison and pressure. People also easily recognize her because of her surname. Yet she has created a legacy of her own using her distinct traits. After all music is in the blood of Mangeshkar family, and they can mould music in whatever way they desire. The 37-year-old singer is the third generation crooner from the Mangeshkar family.
