Priya Saraiya Biography 
Priya Saraiya is a playback singer and lyricist associated with Bollywood, and owns many chartbuster hits to her credit. As a playback singer, she is best known for the songs, Sun Sathiya and Bezubaan Phir Se in the movie ABCD 2 and Piya O Re Piya fromTere Naal Love Ho Gaya. She is the lyricist of the very popular romantic track of Ramaiya Vastavaiya’s Jeene Laga Hoon which was nominated at Zee Cine Awards for Best Track of the Year 2013. She also penned lyrics for some of the beautiful tracks of 2015 Bollywood film, Badlapur starring Varun Dhawan. She is married to the popular musician Jigar Saraiya of the music director duo Sachin-Jigar.
Priya hails from Mumbai, Maharashtra. She was born as Priya Panchal. She started her music training at the age of 6 and later took her classical vocal training from Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She got married to Jigar Saraiya, an established music director of Bollywood at present. As a playback singer in Bollywood, she got noticed for the very popular song, Sham Gulabi of Shudhh Desi Romance for which she rendered her voice for its female version. Later she sang and wrote "Sun Sathiya" in ABCD 2, which made her a star. The song bagged numerous nominations at various award functions and was an instant chartbuster.
As a lyricist she penned lyrics for "Kho diya" in Sanjay Dutt starrer Bhoomi and "Meet" in Kangana Ranaut starrer Simran in the recent times. Apart from Bollywood films, she also sings for Gujarati films, and her song "Preet" from "Best of luck laalu" released in 2017 was a huge hit. Most recently she has also marked her singing debut in south Indian films. "Meher Meher" song for D for Dopidi, composed by Sachin-Jigar is a popular song.
