Prajakta Mali Biography 
Prajakta Mali is a popular Marathi television actress, who shot to fame after playing the lead role in the popular family drama, Julun Yeti Reshimgathi aired on Zee Marathi from 2013-2015. The show also gave the big break to her co-star, Lalit Prabhakar, a well-established theater actor. Their chemistry was well received by audience and there were rumours about their off-screen relationship. She is also associated with Marathi films. She has played a small role in Bollywood film - Gandhi, My Father in 2007. A trained Bharatnatyam dancer, she has performed in many cultural events and has choreographed and performed for the show - Dum-Duma-Dum on DD Shahyadri.
A native of Pune, she was born in 1989. She entered the acting field in 2011. She is now learning Bharatnatyam from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She is learning this classical dance form since the age of 7. A smart student in academics, she completed Masters from Lalit Kala Kendra of Pune University as University topper. She has done live concerts in Bharatnatyam at many prestigious cultural events and festivals like Pune Navratri Festival, Pune Festival, Shanivar Wada Mahotsav, Pune Police Kartavya Melava etc.
Her acting debut began with Doordarshan series, Dholkichya Talawar aired on DD Shahyadri, when she was studying in 6th grade at school. Prajakta Mali made her movie debut in 2013 with Marathi film Kho- Kho. A few of her noted performances in Marathi films – Sangharsh, Kho- Kho, Mhais, Golaberij and Tandala – ek mukhavata and has showcased her talents as a dancer through many of her film roles. She has also made noted appearances in television shows - Aali Lahar Kela Kahar, Suvasini, Bandh Reshmache, Phiruni Navin Janmen Mee etc and has also hosted the shows like Good Morning Maharashtra on Zee Marathi and Gane Tumache Aamache on ETV Marathi.
