Pallavi Pradhan Biography

Pallavi Pradhan is a noted television actress associated with television shows of Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati languages. Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Karam Apnaa Apnaa, Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi etc are some of her popular roles on Hindi television. She has been associated with Gujarati theatre in the 1990s. She has been associated with several comedy sitcoms of late 1990s, and remained successful. She was also seen in Marathi TV show, Lagori-Maitri Returns in 2014.

Currently she plays the role of Uttara Devi Rawat in the TV show, Jiji Maa. As a film actress, she appeared in a few Gujarati movies like Jantar Mantar, Kaanch Na Sambandh, Harakh Padudi Hansa, Baa Na Gher Babo Aavyo etc. She has received a nomination in the best actress category at ITA awards. She was most recently seen in the role of Surili Amrish Kant in the TV soap, Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant.

Pallavi hails from Pune, Maharashtra. She started her professional career as a theater artist in 1995. Arechya Sutala Ki Rao is one among her noted roles for Gujarati theatre. Baa na gher babo aavyo, Kaanch na Sambandh, Haarkh padudi hansa, Jantar mantar etc are other popular works. In 1997, she marked her Hindi television debut through Ek Mahal ho Sapno ka, one of the famous TV series of Sony Television in the 1990s. She was also seen in the series, Sarabhai V/s Sarabhai almost at the same time.

Her role as Usha aunty in the comic show, Saajan Re jhooth mat Bolo, aired on SAB TV was well appreciated. She shot to fame playing the role of Surli Kant in Bahu hamari Rajni Kant, aired on Life OK during 2016-2017.
