Nimrat Khaira Biography 
Nimrat Khaira is a Punjabi singer, actress and playback singer. Her full name is Nimratpal Kaur Khaira. Some of her chartbuster songs include - "SP De Rank", "Dubai Wale Sheikh" and "Suit". “Rohab Rakhdi and “Designer” are a couple of more hits. She is associated with the world of music since 2015. Her song “Dubai Wale Sheikh” won best female singer award at Brit Asia Awards and the song was also nominated at Filmfare Punjabi Award. Tohar, Jattan De Munde and Channan are her most recent releases in 2019. 2017 film Lahoriye marked her screen debut in Punjabi cinema.
Nimrat Khaira was born as Nimratpal Kaur Khaira in Amritsar, Punjab. She completed her schooling at DAV Centenary Public School Batala. She later studied biotechnology and also received graduation in music before she forayed into the world of music. She got into limelight for the first time after winning the singing reality show, Voice of Punjab season 3. After that she started releasing singles. “Rab Karke” in 2015 was her first released single, followed by SP De Rank Wargi, Ishq Kacheri, Salute Wajde, Taanvi Changa Lagda, Rohab Rakhdi etc. Her association with ArZzz during her initial days remained successful.
As a singer, she gained immense popularity through “Ishq Kacheri” and “SP De Rank Wargi” both released in 2016. Since 2017 she started releasing songs frequently and she achieved stardom too. “Rohab Rakhdi”, “Dubai Wale Sheikh”, “Suit” and “Designer” are some of her massive hits in 2017. Her hit song “Designer” came into controversy when it was accused of plagiarism by a foreign composer "Zwirek". Though the song was initially removed from YouTube, it was later added back, when it was proved to be original.
