Namish Taneja is a very popular actor associated with Hindi television, best known for playing lead roles. He is best known for playing the lead role of Lakshya Durga Prasad Maheshwari opposite Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar in the daily soap Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. The show was aired on Colors TV during 2015–2016. He currently plays the lead role of Sathya in the popular show, Ikyawann aired on Star Plus since November 2017. Prachi Tehlan plays the female lead. Within a short span of career in television industry, he bagged two lead roles at a young age, and also earned a huge fan following crowd.

Taneja hails from Delhi. He made his debut as Chiraag in Sony TV’s television drama Ekk Nayi Pehchaan in 2014. He celebrated his birthday on 11th September. This budding young actor was born in the year 1994. Yet he played matured roles in most of the TV soaps in which he appeared. Actually Namish loves dance a lot and wanted to pursue a career in choreography. But destiny was something else, and he joined acting stream. He is very close to her mother and always takes advice from her regarding any important decision. He believes his mother to be his pillar of strength.

After marking his debut with Ekk Nayi Pehchaan in 2014, he played lead role in an episodic show, Pyar Tu Ne Kya Kiya. He gained recognition soon after he received his first lead role in Swaragini - Jodein Rishton Ke Sur. The show was a big success, and he along with his co-star Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar appeared as special guest in several popular TV shows. His second soap in lead role, Ikyawann has just aired a few episodes on Star Plus.
