Naman Shaw Biography

Naman Shaw is a well-known actor associated with Hindi TV shows. He made his first television appearance through the reality show, India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004 and in the past 15 years, he has appeared in around 20 shows, belonging to different genres. He was most recently seen in 2018 show Laal Ishq where he essayed the role of Dhruv. Pushkar Shukla in Zee TV's Kasamh Se, Nakul Virani in STAR Plus' Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Nihaal Garewal in Kasautii Zindagii Kay are some of his most popular roles in Hindi soaps. He has also done brief roles and guest appearances in a few Hindi shows.

 

Naman Shaw was born on December 18, 1982. He hails from a Bengali family of Kolkata, West Bengal. He married Neha Mishra on 24 November 2017. He appeared in India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004, his first show on Indian Television. Kasamh Se produced by Ekta Kapoor is his first TV soap, where he essayed the character role of Pushkar Shukla. He also bagged an important role in Ekta Kapoor’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi – India’s longest running series in 2006. His role as Nakul Virani earned him recognition among television fans and also helped him to get more offers from television industry.

 

He later became a part of the shows such as Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kasturi, Kahe Naa Kahe, Jeet Jayenge Hum, Trittya, Rakt Sambandh, Piya Rangrezz, Beend Banoongaa Ghodi Chadhunga, Tashan-e-Ishq, Lal Ishq, Rakt Sambandh etc. He also appeared in celebrity reality shows like Nach Baliye 4 in 2008. TV actor Himanshoo Malhotra is one of his old pals, and they appeared in the 4th season of Nach Baliye.
