N. R. Raghunanthan Biography 
N. R. Raghunanthan is a music director belonging to Tamil cinema. He debut film industry in the year 2010 and critically acclaimed movie, Thenmerku Paruvakaatru directed by Seenu Ramasamy marked his debut in film field. Later he composed music of Tamil movies - Krishnaveni Panjaalai, Sundarapandian, Neerparavai, Madha Yaanai Koottam, Pulivaal and Manjapai. His debut movie earned him a nomination at Vijay film awards for best music score. He owns a knack of presenting rural sounds laced with melodies quite effectively. With the album Neerparavai, he made an entirely different sound track and ‘Para para’ has made him a household name.
He entered film industry in 2010 with Thenmerku Paruvakaatru. One of its song bagged National award for best lyrics the same year, apart from National award for best regional film in Tamil language. Thus his first movie got noticed. The movie included songs like "Kalli Kaattil" by Vijay Prakash, "Chinna Chinnangattula" by Shankar Mahadevan, "Yedi Kallachi" by Vijay Prakash and Shreya Ghoshal etc. The movie also received a nomination at Vijay film awards for best music. His second project was Krishnaveni Panjaalai in 2012. He received positive reviews for its music.
Same year two more movies were released - Sasikumar's Sundarapandiyan and Seenu Ramasamy's Neerparavai. Both the movies were box office hits and his songs got noticed. Sundarapandiyan included some popular tracks like "Kadhal Vandhu", "Nenjukkulle" and "Rekkai Mulaiththen". In 2013, only one album was released - Madha Yaanai Koottam. Its music was warmly welcomed by critics. Among all his works till now, he is best remembered for his first work - Thenmerku Paruvakaatru.
