Manish Paul Biography

Manish Paul is a successful television actor and host. He is known as a TV presenter in comic shades. He started his career as a radio jockey and video jockey and later moved to television. Currently he is co-hosting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa - season 6 with Kapil Sharma. Manish Paul co-hosts many reality shows and comedy shows of Indian television. He has also acted in a few movies - Maruti Mera Dost, Teer maar khan, ABCD: Any Body Can Dance and Mickey Virus. In 2011, he participated in ZEE TV’s Star Ya Rockstar as a contestant. He hosted Femina Miss India – 2012 and Indian Telly awards several times.

As a successful TV host, his programs include - Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar, Comedy Circus Ka Jadoo, Kiski Daal Galegi, Zindadil, Kiski Daal Galegi, Dance Ke Superstars, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5 and 6, India's Got Talent, Ghar ghar mein and Dance India Dance Li'l Masters. He has acted in television serials like - Pyaar Mein Twist, Ghost Bana Dost, Kuch Kook Hota Hai, Ssshhhh...Phir Koi Hai and Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayeng.

Paul started his career in Delhi, as a host, compering cultural events in schools and colleges. He shifted to Mumbai later. As a host, his debut venture on television was Sunday Tango on Star Plus in 2002. At the same time, he worked as a VJ for Zee Music and a radio jockey with Radio City's morning drive time show, Kasakai Mumbai. As an actor, his first role was Ghost Bana Dost of Star one, where he played the role of ghost. But he felt bored in daily soaps and later concentrated to hosting and television shows presentation. He is married to Sanyukta Paul, a Bengali whom he dated since 1998. They got married in the year 2007.
