Manasi Joshi Roy Biography 
Manasi Joshi Roy is a noted actress associated with Hindi soaps. She is best known for her roles in Saaya, Gharwali Uparwali and Kkusum. She has also done a few Bollywood films. She is married to noted film and television actor, Rohit Roy. Famous Bollywood actor Sharman Joshi is her brother while actor Ronit Roy is her brother-in-law. She is a close relative of Bollywood iconic villain Prem chopra too. Her brother is married to Chopra’s daughter.
Manasi was born in Mumbai in 1976 into a family related to art and theater. Her father Arvind Joshi is a Gujarati theatre actor, director and producer, while her younger brother Sharman Joshi later joined in Bollywood films and now is a successful actor. She took her graduation in psychology from the famous Mithibai College. She married top television actor of 1990s and later, Rohit roy and the couple has one daughter, Kiara Bose Roy.
Manasi started her career in acting at the age of 16 with the famous Gujarati play, Eni Sugandhno Dariyo written & directed by her father. After that she worked in her father’s two more plays. After graduation, she started modelling, and has appeared in over 100 ad films. Hair & Care, Close Up, Ponds, Milkmaid, Surf, Kelloggs etc some of the leading brands with which she associated with.
She began her television journey as a TV host for the show, Bol Bollywood, a show based on Bollywood cinema. She later anchored a few more TV entertainment shows like Tara Rum Pum Pum, Entertainment Now etc. Gaatha on Star Plus was the first TV show in which she acted. It happened in 1997. Thus Manasi is associated with entertainment industry for about 25 years.
