Kaushik Menon Biography 
Kaushik Menon is a Carnatic vocalist and playback singer associated with south Indian film industry. As a playback singer, till now he has sung for Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu language films. “Natkal Nagarndhu" from the Tamil movie Ninaithale Inikkum gave him a major break in his singing career. He also owns a Musical Studio named Tapas Studio. In 2009 he received Best Upcoming Playback Singer at Mirchi Music Awards for his song "Natkal Nagarndhu". He is best known for his collaboration with Mejo Joseph.
Aromale of C/O Sairabanu and Kanniveyil from Varikuzhiyile Kolapathakam, both composed by Mejo Joseph are his most recent works in Malayalam. They have earlier collaborated for the movies – Law Point and Entry. Mejo Joseph gave him three songs from Telugu movie, Telugabbai in 2013. The music composer has acted as his mentor, giving him opportunities in playback singing.
Kaushik Menon hails from Palakkad, Kerala, and currently is settled in Chennai. Since school days he was inclined towards singing and used to participate in singing competitions. During his college days, he was active in youth festivals & stage shows. When he was 18, he once met legendary singer Janaky who suggested him to relocate to Chennai to get more opportunities. After moving to Chennai, he continued with his stage shows.
As a playback singer he marked his debut with the movie, Aasai Paravai in 2009. He sang the solo song, Kannil Kalantha composed by R. K. Sundar. The real break came the following year when he got his second song. He sang the solo version of friendship song Naatkal Nagarndhu from the movie, Ninaithale Inikkum and music was composed by Vijay Antony, and there was no turning back after that.
