Kanth Kaler Biography 
Kanth Kaler is a Punjabi singer associated with independent music, and his sad songs are popular. Hun Teri Nigah Badal Gai, Dass Asi Kehra Tere Bina Mar Challea, Udikan, and Teri Yaad Sajna are his major hit singles. His real name is Harvinder Kaler. He is to mark his playback singing debut through Punjabi film Chhevan Dariya. His released albums till now are Ik Saah, Fanna, Armaan, Tere Bin, Sadhra, Aadat, Doriya, Intezar, Tu Chete Ave, Teri Yaad Sajna, Teri Akh Vairne, Dhol Janiya, Hun Teri Nigah Badal Gai, Pichhon Mukar Na Javi, Sad Songs - Vol. 9, Anmol - The Priceless, Daaru, Armaan-the endless quest of love and Fanaa.
Kanth Kaler hails from Nakodar, Jalandhar, Punjab. He was born on 7 May 1972. He changed his name following the advice by a spiritual guru. He suggested Kaler to put ‘Kanth’ to his name, and hence he changed his name from Harvinder Kaler to Kanth Kaler. Kanth Kaler is the perfect combination that the Punjabi masses want in their singer. Kaler started learning music at the age of 10 from Ustad R.P. Rana. He used to sing at the school bal Sabha, and his teachers used to encourage him. He started winning talent hunts and finally took to the youth festivals, which he completed a hat-trick, winning three times in a row.
His albums mostly belong to Folk and Bhangra genre. He has also released a few devotional albums like Kaashi Vich Rehan Walia, Meri Vasadi Paharan Wich Maaye, Sade Naina Vich Guru Ravidass Vasia, Kaashi wale guru, Dhan Dhan Khalsa, Haq and Delhi - The Army Of 1984. Asin Udhde Aasre Tere and Sher Da Yaar are his upcoming albums.
