Jawahar Wattal Biography 
Kingmaker of Indipop, Jawahar Wattal is a music director and producer of independent music. He is also a leading name of ad world. He is mostly associated with non-filmy albums of Indian pop scene since 1990s. A pioneer of Indian pop scene, he composed musi for 73 music albums out of which 19 have gone multi-platinum. He also composed more than 3,000 jingles apart from music for TV shows like The World This Week, Himalaya Darshan and Ru Ba Ru. For his contributions towards the field of music, he was honoured with fourth highest civilian Padma Shri by government of India in 2008.
He is also a leading name in the Indian ad world scene. Wattal has directed and produced more than 3,000 commercials which include leading brands like Ponds, Pepsi, Hero Honda, KLM, Usha Fans, Boost, Horlicks, Lufthansa, Maggi, Nescafé and Mirinda. He has been actively engaged in brand promotions and execution of various product launches also. He has composed and produced music for some of iconic Punjabi pop albums of 1990s which played a magnificent role in popularizing Indie pop during the second half of the decade.
