Jakes Bejoy Biography 
Jakes Bejoy is a music composer associated with south Indian film industry. He composes songs for Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. He marked his debut with 2014 Malayalam film, ’Angels’ and marked his Tamil debut the following year with the project, Thakka Thakka. In 2018 he marked his Telugu debut with Taxiwala. As a music composer of Malayalam cinema, his best known works include Monsoon Mangoes, Queen, Swathanthryam Ardharathriyil, Ranam and Kavi Uddheshichathu..? He also composed music for Tamil super hit thriller starring Rehman, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru released in 2016.
Jakes Bejoy hails from Erattupetta of Kottayam district, Kerala. Jakes is not a new face to Malayalam music. His association with Vineeth Sreenivasan gave the successful music of the private album, Malayalee a decade ago. Jakes Bejoy has been selective about his film projects, a bit slow drive in his profession and has worked only in a few number of films, belonging to different languages. Among all his works, Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru is critically acclaimed, and regarded as his best work up-to-date. It music was lauded for its unique format. Jakes, now, has a slew of projects lined up - in Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu.
His first release of 2018 was Malayalam movie, Queen. Queen's director Dijo Jose Anthony had worked as an assistant director in Angels, the movie which marked the debut of Bejoy in cinema. He also gained positive reviews for the music of Fahadh Fasil starrer, Monsoon Mangoes. He is not the kind of music director who is adamant about doing a particular brand of music, but loves to do what's required for the film. Sarathkumar's Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2, Vimal's Mannar Vagera and Prithviraj's Detroit Crossing are his upcoming music projects.
