Himmanshoo A. Malhotra Biography
Himmanshoo A. Malhotra is a popular television actor. He is the elder brother of television actor Mohit Malhotra, known for his charm and cute smile. Bhagonwali-Baante Apni Taqdeer and Aapki Antara are his best works, where he portrayed the roles of Guddu Shukla and Sameer respectively. He influenced his younger brother a lot, who later stepped into his big brother’s shoes. Himanshu appeared as a cop and was paired with Shivshakti Sachdev for an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui. He played second lead in Sahara One's supernatural thriller Shubh Kadam.
Himmanshoo was born into a business family of Delhi on 2nd April 1982 and he was interested in cricket during his childhood days. His real name is Himanshu Malhotra. Mohit is 4 years younger to him. He completed MBA as per his parents’ wish to join business. Yet destiny was something else. He was first spotted for a talent hunt show while at Delhi. He was amongst the top three contestants of Zee's Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. Since then he got permanently added to Indian television family.
Bindass' youth based show Champ, Fear files, Encounter, Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage, Pyaar Ishq Mohobbat, Simply Sapney and 9X' Jiya Jale are some of his television works. The chemistry between Samaira and Himmanshoo in the television series - Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage was electric and there were rumours of link up. He has also done one film - Mr. Khujli. After his father’s death his mother took over the family business and he took a year break from the industry to be with his mother. He also wants to take care of his father’s business as his father wished.
