Gowry Lekshmi Biography 
Gowry Lekshmi is a young music composer, singer and songwriter from Alappuzha, Kerala. She is also a music producer and playback singer. She is associated with musical world since 2006. Gowry Lekshmi began her film career at the age of 13 by composing a song – Sakhiye for the Malayalam film Casanovva starring Mohanlal. Thus she becomes one of the youngest female composers of Malayalam cinema. Gowry is a holder of the Performer's Certificate from Trinity College London. She is married to musician and drummer Ganesh Venkitaramani and they together own a musical band.
Gowry Lekshmi was born in Cherthala in Alappuzha of Kerala. She was born on 2 August 1993. She completed her schooling from Bishop Moore Vidyapith Cherthala. She graduated in music from RLV College of Music and Fine Arts, Thrippunithura. She also completed masters in the same subject from Kerala University. Her professional career began at the tender age of 13 as a music composer. She became the youngest music composer of the country when one of her composed tunes was liked and added to the movie Casanovva by its director Rosshan Andrrews. When the song was released officially she was 15 years old.
As a playback singer she got the first break through Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal. The song was "Ithu Jeevitham". Before that she composed one song, "Vande Madaram" for Kunthapura. As a playback singer she has rendered her voice for a few Tamil songs too. In 2019 she wrote the song, "Thirinjum Marinjum", gave music and also gave her voice. As a singer some of her popular songs are "Athmavin Akashathil" from Njan Prakashan, "Sunnath Kalyanam" from Aana Alaralodalaral, "Aaro Nenjil" from Godha etc.
