George Joseph Biography 
George Joseph is an experienced and award-winning recording engineer, programmer, background scorer and composer with around 15 years of experience in the Indian film and advertising industry. Major credits Bollywood include productions such as ‘Arjun’, ‘London Paris New York’ and ‘Drona’, where he was a music producer and programmer. He has been frequently associated with some of the best music composers of the country; Pritam, Shantanu Moitra, Vishal–Shekhar, Salim–Sulaiman, Raju Singh etc to name a few. He has been associated with Shantanu Moitra for significant amount of work, and has been a part of some of his award winning music albums like Naa Bangaaru Talli (Telugu), Buno Haansh (Bengali) and many more popular works such as October, Welcome to Sajjanpur, Madras Café, Pink, PK etc.
His full name is George Joseph Olakkengil, and he hails from Thrissur, Kerala. He primary works in Bollywood films. He started off as an associative of film composer Ram Sampath as music programmer and producer in 2004 with the film Kakhee. After that he has been associated with many music composers, predominantly for Bollywood films. He did his sound engineering course from the SAE Institute at Chennai in 2003, and shifted to Mumbai soon after. That’s how he got associated with Ram Sampath, and later several composers.
Initially he worked as a freelancer sound engineer with Ram Sampath, Shantanu Moitra and Raju Singh. After associated with Bollywood for around 14 years, he turned a background scorer with 2018 Bollywood film, 102 Not Out. His work was well appreciated. He was associated with Raju Singh for some of his best musical projects – Aashique 2, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Ek Villain etc.
