Gajendra Singh Biography 
Gajendra Singh is an Indian television producer and director associated with many popular television shows on Hindi network for more than 20 years. He has produced many popular musical game shows and reality shows since mid-1990s. Doordarshan’s very popular Close Up Antakshari hosted by actors Annu Kapoor and Pallavi Joshi since 1994 is one of his very popular TV shows during his first phase in television industry. The show also appeared in "Limca book of Records" for making the longest running musical reality show for long 10 continuous years till 2005. Amul Music ka Maha Muqqabla, Sur Kshetra, Lil' Champs, India's Best Cinestar's ki Khoj etc are his other popular music shows.
A pioneer in Indian film industry for popularizing musical game shows as well as singing reality shows, he has been a trendsetter since 1990s. Many shows later followed the same suit and earned popularity in other regional languages as well. Games shows, musical talent shows etc are a few more. He owns a production company, Saaibaba Telefilms, which produces both game shows as well as fictional and reality shows. He has also produced a few TV soaps like Ghar Aaja Pardesi in 2013. Still he is best known for musical game shows and reality shows.
Television producer Gajendra Singh pioneered the concept of reality musical shows on television with 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' and 'Antakshari'. He believes that such shows serve as a platform to bring singing talent to the fore. He has promoted several quality singers with his shows like 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' on Zee TV, 'Voice of India' and 'Chote Ustad' on Star Plus. Many of such voices such as Shreya Ghoshal and Kunal Ganjewala later earned fame in Bollywood. However in 2010, the famed reality show singer Rahul Vaidya filed a case against TV producer for harassment and non-payment for the show, Music Ma Maha Muquabla.
