DJ Aqeel Biography 
DJ Aqeel, also known as Aqeel Ali is one of the bigesst names of Indian remixes, particularly Bollywood. He played a significant role in popularizing old Hindi songs in new remixed versions, among Indian music listeners, particularly those love to hear old Hindi songs in a new style. He is known as a DJ, singer and composer. Disc jockey Aqeel, rose to fame with “Shake it daddy mix” in 2000. "Tu Hai Wahi", a remix of the title track of 1982 movie - "Yeh Wada Raha" was also one of his earliest big hits. He owns a nightclub Hype and most recently re-launched it in Delhi. It is spread over an area of 12,000 sq. ft.
He is married to Farah Khan Ali, a gemologist and jewellery designer, better known as the daughter of actor Sanjay Khan. Suzanne Roshan and Zayed Khan are her siblings. Suzanne Roshan, formerly married to superstar Hrithik Roshan is an interior desiner while Zayed Khan is a Bollywood actor, best known for his supporting role in Mein hoon na.
Aqueel has been rocking the dance floors across the globe for more than a decade. His music ride began in the year 2000 with “Shake it daddy mix” giving new definitions to the remix world and there is no turning back after that. He is the only Indian DJ to fill up concert size venues internationally and is only DJ to play twice at the World Economic Forum in Davos representing India. After the success of his debut album - "Shake it Daddy Mix", he released 9 blockbuster albums and sold over 7 million copies worldwide. Forever-2 (2012) that comprises of songs like “Kya Dekhte Ho” is one of his recent best albums.
