Dhruv Bhandari Biography

Dhruv Bhandari is a popular television actor, best known for the TV shows - Rakt Sambandh and Tere Sheher Mein, where he played the male lead. He is the son of veteran television actor, Mohan Bhandari of Saat Phere fame. He played the male protagonist opposite Hiba Nawab in the television series, Tere Sheher Mein which was aired on Star Plus in 2015. However due to low TRP rates, the show went off air. In 2015, he made his Bollywood debut as lead hero through the movie - Paisa Ho Paisa, where he shared screen space with Madalasa Sharma and Kanishka Soni. Earlier he has done a cameo role in the film - Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji in 2011.


Dhruv Bhandari was born on 28 October 1988 in Mumbai into a family with artistic background. His father Mohan Bhandari has been a busy star of the golden period of Doordarshan serials. He completed graduation in Mass Media and was quite active in theatre during his college days. He is a trained dancer and has attended many theatre workshops. The actor is currently dating an actress from entertainment industry for about three years, though has not revealed her name. He prefers to announce it officially once everything is finalized. Currently both the actors are focusing on their professional careers.


Dhruv made his television debut through Rakt Sambandh where he played the male lead Yuvraj opposite Sriti Jha. The show was successfully aired for 185 episodes since 2010. But he established himself as an actor through the show, Tere Sheher Mein. Paisa Ho Paisa marked his film debut as lead hero the same year. Though he received success in his professional career in the year 2015, he lost his father the same year, a few months after the release of his Bollywood film.
