Dhina Biography 
Dhina is a well-known music composer associated with Tamil film industry. His name is often credited as Dheena. He has also composed music for numerous TV shows in Tamil. He is also associated with T. T. V. Dhinakaran's Amma Makkal Munetra Kazhagam regional party since 2018. He started off his career as a background scorer for year 1996 movie - Vasantha Vaasal and has composed music for more than 25 Tamil films since year 2000. Songs of Thiruda Thirudi and Thirupaachi earned him early success in Tamil films. He is regularly associated with TV soaps as a music composer and mostly composes track songs.
His birth name is Padma Dinakaran, and he is known as Dhina in the film industry. He started his film journey as an assistant under composer G. K. Venkatesh in the 1990s. Later he worked with famous composer Ilaiyaraaja as a music conductor. By that time he started giving theme songs and track songs for Tamil TV serials in the 1990s. Chithi in 1999 was his first work in television industry, and he turned an independent music composer in Tamil cinema the following year. Chithi gave him a big break to his professional career. It also helped him to bag many offers from Tamil cinema.
He has composed the title tracks of many popular TV serials such as Chitthi, Annamalai, Ninaivugal, Payanam, Nambikkai, Chellamay, Metti Oli etc. He has also composed songs for a few Telugu and Kannada films, and the Telugu remake of Thiruda Thirudi titled Donga Dongadi. In fact his first big break to Tamil films was Thiruda Thirudi which included ‘Manmada Raasaa’ song. Middle Class Madhavan, King, Thirupaachi, Nee Venunda Chellam, Yuga, Thullal, Dindigul Sarathy, Anthony Yaar, Medhai, Seedan, Iravum Pagalum Varum etc are a few more works in Tamil cinema.
