Dhanunjay Biography 
Dhanunjay is a youth sensational playback singer associated with Telugu film industry. His few hits include Dikka Dikka Dum Dum from Sogade Chinnayna, Po pove enkantam from Raguvaran Btech and several more. You are my MLA, Bhaaje Bhaaje, Jivvu Jivvu from Sarrainodu, Gopala Gopala and Katamarayudu, Govinda Namalu from Om Namo Venkatesaya etc are a few more. He has sung many chartbusters for top heroes like NTR, Nagarjuna, Dhanush and few others. Despite having strong classical roots, Dhanunjay made a mark in Telugu cinema predominantly with several folk numbers. The semi-folk touch he added to his renditions as for Temper and Soggade Chinni Nayana made him famous.
Dhanunjay was born in Srikakulam to a family with strong musical background. He received encouragement from teachers and friends from school days, who always motivated him to learn music and pursue a career in it. He took formal learning in classical music from Lakshmi Ramadasu from Thyagaraja Sangeetha Kalasala, Vizianagaram. He is an avid fan of A. R. Rahman too. He completed M.Sc and M.A in music from his hometown Vizianagaram, the town which gifted many legendary voices to south Indian music. He had stints with Vandemataram Srinivas and Anup Rubens.
Anup Rubens gave him a major break to the industry through the song Soodu Soodu from Loukyam, Po Ekantham from Raghuvaran B Tech etc were also big hits. But it was Baaje Baaje from Gopala Gopala which gave him the real recognition. Though he has strong classical base, he earned success through folk and other genres of music. He chooses not to indulge into his Carnatic influences while he sings. He also loves to work in private albums, alongside his regular playback singing. He has earned guitar and a few grades of keyboard too.
