Devdatta Sable Biography 
Devdatta Sable is a famous Marathi music composer. He started his film journey at a very young age and he was only 19 when he composed popular Marathi songs such as "Hi Chaal Turu Turu" and "Manaachyaa Dhundit". He is the son of Shahir Krishnarao Sable, also called Shahir Sable, a legendary folk artist from the state of Maharashtra. He was accomplished singer, writer, playwright, play director and performer on stage. His son Kedar Shinde is a Marathi filmmaker. He is an also actor, director, producer and screen writer from Maharashtra. His sister Charusheela Sable is a Marathi actor. His brother in law Ajit Vachani is also an actor.
Devdatta Sable was born into a family with strong background in folk art and music. Born as the son of legendary folk and theatre artist, Padma Shri Shahir Sable, he too chose the same field. In fact he tasted success at a young age, during his late teens. He took Marathi music industry by storm many years back with his love tracks, during his early phase in cinema, and is still active in composing music. His songs for 'Aakrandan' earned him recognition. Adivasi song titled 'Dev jevla aamhi pahila' recorded in his voice became popular.
Devdatta Sable was inspired from his father to take music as profession. In fact, he has performed with his father for Maharashtrachi Lokdhara, which showcased folk plays across Maharashtra, to popularize folk culture. He also composed songs for non-filmy project, "Baya dar ughad". For this play, he won Zee Gaurav Purskar in 2011 for the Music of Marathi play. His compositions for the play, Parampara.com won him Sanskruti Kala Darpan Award in 2015.
