C. Sathya Biography 
C. Sathya is a music composer and background scorer associated with Tamil cinema. He is a successful playback singer too. He has worked in Telugu movies too. As a music composer he marked his debut with Tamil film Engeyum Eppodhum in 2011. He earned Jaya Award For Sensational Music Debut for his acclaimed work of this movie. After the success of this movie, he started receiving more offers from movies, and very soon turned a successful young music composer of south Indian cinema. Sathya made his debut in Telugu with the movie Something Something in 2013. He has also composed and sung for Tamil TV shows and soaps.
C. Sathya was born on 31 December 1978. He took formal lessons in Carnatic music before he pursued a career in music industry. He also plays harmonium, and he mastered keyboard as well. His strong background in Carnatic music helped him a lot in his music journey and helped him to learn new things and music instruments easier. Yet he waited for some time to get his first break in 2009. However his debut flick, Yaen Ippadi Mayakkinai as a music composer never got released. However its music album got released, and got noticed as well.
He waited for two more years to get his first film, Engeyum Eppodhum released. The songs of Yaen Ippadi Mayakkinai helped him to bag this project. The sleeper hit propelled his career and made him a youth sensation. It also helped him to bag music offers. Theedhum Nandrum, Bayama Irukku, Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaaran, Ponmaalai Pozhudhu, Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru etc are among his Tamil works. As of now, he has worked in Tamil and Telugu films.
