Bhavesh Balchandani Biography

Bhavesh Balchandani is a noted child artist on big screen and small screen. He has worked with Emraan Hashmi with two Bollywood movies in the recent times - Ek Thi Daayan, where he played the role of Emraan’s adopted son, Zubin and Hamari Adhuri Kahani, where he played Emraan’s childhood. Phulwa as young Babu, CID as Bunty, Suryaputra Karn as Arjuna and Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera as Young Ranvijay are some of his noted roles on small screen. He was also seen in one episode of the crime series – Crime patrol.

 

For the year 2013, his role as Ranvijay Sampooran Singh for Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera helped him to bag Indian Telly Award for Best Child Artiste – Male. At present Bhavesh, the wonder kid maintains equilibrium with his television and film career. Bhavesh Balchandani belongs to Surat and they got settled in Mumbai, following his busy schedule. A child prodigy he doesn’t hold any filmy background and has done more than 40 television ads apart from television serials. The actor memorizes his dialogues as he learns lessons for his school.

 

He made his film debut with Ek Thi Daayan, at the age of 12 where he shared screen space with Emraan Hashmi. The movie was a horror flick, which gained critics’ appreciation and was a box office hit. For Bhavesh it was a learning experience to act with the established actor. It was not a calk walk for the young actor to get this role. He attended the auditions for the film and got the role from the listed candidates of around 500. He attended several screen tests and a workshop with Vishal Bharadwaj, Kanan Iyer and Ekta Kapoor before he did the role.
