Barun Sobti Biography 
Barun Sobti is an Indian model and television actor who started his career by performing in the television series Shraddha that was aired on the STAR Plus. He became popular after his participation in the romantic drama Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?
Barun was born on 21st August 1984 in a Sikh Punjabi family in Delhi. He studied at St. Mark’s School in Meera Bagh in Delhi. He married his longtime girlfriend Pashmeen Manchanda. He worked as an operation manager at Jindal Telecom for 7 years before he came to the entertainment industry.
He starred with Neha Janpandit in the program Shraddha and later appeared in many shows like Dill Mill Gaye and Baat Hamari Pakki Hai. He played the lead role in the series Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? which got him huge fan base.
He is called The Golden Boy of Indian Television and has won many awards for his performance. He hosted the 2011 Star Parivaar Awards program and acted in the film Main Aur Mr. Right.
The television programs he has participated include Shraddha, Dill Mill Gayye, Boogie Woogie, Baat Hamari Pakki Hai, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, Star Parivaar Awards 2011 and Star Parivaar Live UK 2012.
