Badshah (rapper) Biography

Badshah’s real name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia and he is a popular rapper known for his Punjabi and Hindi songs. He is also known for his association with Yo Yo Honey Singh – with who he released his first single in 2006. He is also collaborated with several pop artists like Gippy Grewal, Diljeet Dosanjh, Manj Musik, Raftaar and Aastha Gill. Many of his soundtracks have been featured in the music albums of Bollywood movies. A few of them include – Khoobsurat and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania both released in 2014. One of the budding stars among Indian rappers at present, his hit track "DJ Waley Babu" went viral over net. He often calls him the prime version of Yo Yo Honey Singh, with whom he has associated for 6 long years.

His birth name is Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia. He was born in Delhi. His family originally belongs to Haryana and he was associated with its culture. He schooled from Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, Delhi. He was a member of school choir and was interested in singing since young. He dreamt to become an IAS Officer. He completed Civil Engineering from PEC University of Technology, Chandigarh. During those days he got completely drawn to the world of music and later turned full-time musician.

His first single was released in 2006 association with Yo Yo Honey Singh. Badshah worked with Yo Yo Honey Singh for six years. In 2012, he released his first independent album - Born Star, followed by Terminator, Reel - Purani Reejh and Band Botal. Rapper Badshah’s songs like “Abhi toh party shuru hui hai” - Khoobsurat, “Saturday-Saturday”- Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and “Dhup chik hori se” of Fugly created waves in Bollywood. Yet he is not interested in composing music for Bollywood.
