Ayaan Ali Khan Biography 
Ayaan Ali Khan is one of the most promising Indian musicians of today. He is the son of famous musician Amjad Ali Khan. His mother is Subhalakshmi Barua, a noted classical dancer. His elder brother Amaan Ali Khan is also a noted musician and together they have performed in many concerts. Khan Brothers have also hosted the music talent show Sa Re Ga Ma nearly for 3 years since early 2000s. They received a Lycra Style Award from MTV India in 2006. Apart from solo albums, he has also released collaboration albums with his brother and father. He along with his family performed at Parliament of India in 2007.
Khan was born 5 September 1979 as the son of sarod player Amjad Ali Khan and Subhalakshmi Barua Khan. His real name is Bangash and he belongs to the fifth generation of tradition of music. He, along with his elder brother was trained from a young age by their father. Since 1980’s he has performed with his father and brother. He released his solo debut album of classical music in 1999. After that he co-hosted Sa Re Ga Ma of Zee Television for 3 years, aside his brother. In 2002, the brothers released a book, Abba: God's Greatest Gift To Us dedicated to their father. They released their collaboration album, Moksha in 2005 which was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Traditional World Music Album. In the following years, the brothers released Reincarnation, an album of world fusion music, Sufi music album - Rang and thematic album, Mystic Dunes. ‘Headwaters’ is their latest release in the year 2013.
His solo albums are Raga Bageshwari (1999), Footsteps (2000), Raga Shree (2002), Sonata (2005) and Chords of Devotion (2005). Ayaan and Amaan Ali Khan dropped their family surname Bangash in 2006.
