Avinesh Rekhi Biography

Avinesh Rekhi is an Indian actor who works in Bollywood and television. He made his acting debut in the year 2008 with the movie, Ru Ba Ru and alter moved to television. Currently he plays the role of Neeraj in Main Naa Bhoolungi on Sony Entertainment network. He is best known for portraying the male lead Kabir of Chhal — Sheh Aur Maat and negative role of Sultan in Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon. In his debut movie, he played a supporting role aside Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami, Rati Agnihotri and Kulbhushan Kharbanda. Avinesh rose to fame with his portrayal of the bad boy Sultan in the popular serial Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon.

 

Rekhi was born in 1984 in Nabha, Punjab. M. P. Singh and Darshana Rekhi are his parents. After studies he started his professional career in IT industry though quit it later to move on to entertainment world. He got married to his longtime girlfriend Raisa on December 29, 2010 long before his entry to the world of television. He has always remained silent about his marital status and has most recently revealed that he never mentioned the fact because he was never asked about it.

 

After a brief role in 2008 Bollywood movie Ru Ba Ru, he made his small screen debut in the year 2010 and fully focusing on his television career. Though he began his career with movies, this actor has not received any good film roles later. He has also faced so many rejections for good roles in Bollywood. He loves to do a comic role similar to Andaz apna apna onscreen. He liked Aamir Khan’s role in the movie. He says, he is basically an introvert who prefers to stay at home when free, rather than go out with friends for a party.
