Athar Siddiqui Biography

Athar Siddiqui is a noted model and actor associated with Hindi television industry. He is best known for playing negative role in a TV serial ‘Chandra Nandini’. He shot to success after this show was aired on Star Plus. Bachelorette India, Hum Hai Bajrangi, Parvarish, Kismat Konnection, Fear Files, Private Investigator, Devlok-2, Savdhaan India, Paramavtar Shri Krishna and Shaktipeeth Ke Bhairav are other shows in which he acted. He has played lead roles, supporting roles and antagonist roles and succeeded in all these roles. Yet he earned fame through antagonist and negative shaded roles he played on mini screen.

He played lead role for the shows - Kismat Konnection, Fear Files, Hum Hai Bajrangi etc. He was seen as antagonist in Shaktipeeth Ke Bhairav, Private Investigator, Savdhaan India, Chandra Nandini etc. He was featured in a music video titled Wedding Da Season, where he worked with Bollywood celebrities Shilpa Shetty, Neha Kakkar, and Mika Singh.

Athar was born on 14 December 1990 in Meerut Uttar Pradesh. He has three siblings. He completed engineering in instrumentation. But he has always aspired to become a model and actor. He liked Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt a lot, and drew inspirations from them. It was only due to family pressure, he had to complete his engineering course. Yet destiny was something else, and Athar found himself landed to the world of entertainment and acting.

He also did modelling since his college days, and succeeded in this field. He also worked in print shoots. Bingo, Tiger Balm, Samsung and Endura Mass are some of the leading brands of the country for which he worked as a model, before joining television field. He also shared screen space with Shahrukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra in TV commercials. Bachelorette India and Hum Hai Bajrangi were his early shows on television.
