Arun Paudwal Biography 
Arun Paudwal was a noted music composer who has assisted music maestro R. D. Burman for long years. Noted playback singer Anuradha Paudwal is his wife. The couple has a daughter named Kavita Paudwal, who is a singer, and a son, Aditya Paudwal. He composed the popular song "Ashwini Ye Na" for a Marathi Film Gammat Jammat in 1987, sung by Kishore Kumar with music director’s wife Anuradha Paudwal for the first time. The movie is still remembered for this chartbuster song. He composed for Marathi and Hindi Films. He passed away at a comparatively young age, leaving behind his wife and two kids.
Arun Paudwal started off in the late 1960s got associated with another music composer cum arranger Anil Mohile. They formed the music duo - 'Anil-Arun', who composed for several Marathi films. Aali mazya ghari hi Diwali, Ashtavinayak and Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi are some of their Marathi films. The duo continued to compose songs till the death of Arun in 1991. Since early 1970s with the beginning of R. D. Burman’s career, the duo got associated with him and has assistant him in many of his memorable films.
As a music director, Arun assisted RD for the movies like Sharmeelee, Chhupa Rustam, Abhimaan, Jugnu, Zakhmee, Prem Nagar, Chalte Chalte, and many more. Many of R.D’s works in the early 1970s were the pending works of his father S. D. Burman including Sharmeelee and Abhimaan. Arun continued his association with R.D throughout 1980s also. Sharaabi, Geraftaar, Saheb etc are a few among the hits of 1980s. He also worked with Bappi Lahiri for Ghayal, Tanedaar etc. As a music director of Bollywood, he composed songs of Meera Ka Mohan (1992), released after his death. Songs sung by Anuradha Paudwal were quite popular. Arun Paudwal died on Nov 1, 1991.
