Arpita Mukherjee Biography 
Arpita Mukherjee is an Indian playback singer, associated with Bollywood. She was the winner of singing reality show in Zee TV's Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Golden Voice Hunt 2003, followed by Fame Gurukul and she shot to fame after that. She also got opportunities from movies, and has done independent albums and works in television too. She has been a part of Music video and albums, TVC, television shows and movies, apart from reality shows. She has rendered her voice for Bollywood songs - Haathon Mein Thhe Haath from Mubarakan and Sapney from Ek Tha Hero. She has been a member of Grand Jury Panel of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2017, the show which once gave her the best platform 15 years back.
Arpita Mukherjee was born on 27 March 1982 in New Delhi. She was only five years old when she gave her first performance. Singing always remained her first passion, and she got initial lessons of music from her mother. She learnt Hindi film songs, Bhajans, Ghazals and Thumris, since childhood. She won the Golden Voice award on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 2003, which gave her initial recognition. Subsequently she became a finalist in Sony’s Fame Gurukul. After that offers came pouring in and there was no turning back after that.
Arpita anchored programmes on Doordarshan, Zee TV and ETV. She got her first break in Bollywood with Tanuja Chandra’s Film Star followed by Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye. Her first album was launched by Crescendo Promotions and Management, and the first released video was "Ye chand". She is a fan of Asha Bhosle and Celine Dion. She has sung numerous songs for TV soaps.
