Arko Pravo Mukherjee Biography 
Arko Pravo Mukherjee – the man behind the popular romantic hits, Aaj Phir Tum Pe (Hate Story 2), Abhi Abhi (Jism 2) and Mehrbaani (The Shaukeens) is a music director and playback singer associated with Bollywood. New music sensation of Bollywood, Arko is a qualified doctor who made his debut as a as a music composer and lyricist through 2012 film – Jism 2. He later composed singles for Bollywood films – Yaariyan, Hate Story 2, Tamanchey, Kuch Kuch Locha Hai, The Shaukeens, Bhaag Johnny, Jazbaa, Kapoor & Sons etc, and rendered his voice for a few songs as well. He revived the popular Bollywood hit of 1980s - "Aaj Phir Tumpe Pyaar Aaya Hai” for Hate Story 2 and "Iss Qadar Pyar Hai" of Sonu Nigam’s popular album Deewana for the movie, Bhaag Johnny.
He was born in Kolkata, West Bengal in 1983. He was born to Dr. Apurba Kumar Mukherjee & Mahasweta Mukherjee. Later Arko too completed his studies in medicine and is a qualified doctor. He graduated with MBBS with a gold medal in 2007 from Burdwan Medical College. He also completed his internship at Calcutta Medical College the following year. But his passion to music brought him to Mumbai in 2008. He came to Mumbai for the first time to hang around with Bollywood actor Priyanshu Chatterjee, who happens to be his friend. Through Priyanshu he learnt more about film industry and Arko wanted to make a mark in the industry.
He decided establish himself as a singer, composer as well as a lyricist. Arko has composed and sang many popular chartbuster singles for Bollywood in the recent times. He made his Bollywood debut in the year 2012 with the film – Jism 2. He composed the songs - Abhi Abhi, Maula and the title track - Yeh Jism Hai Toh Kya for the movie, and his songs were sung by KK, Ali Azmat, Akriti Kakar and Shreya Ghoshal. The movie was already in the spotlight for the debut of porn star Sunny Leone and its music too was well received. Since then he has scored many chartbuster hits.
