Arjun Janya Biography 
Arjun Janya is a successful music director of Kannada film industry. He occasionally sings for his compositions as well. He is a recipient of SIIMA Award for Best Male Playback Singer for "Baithe Baithe" from 2013 movie Varadanayaka. In 2012 he received Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director and Filmfare nomination for the tracks of the movie, Alemaari. In 2013 he received Filmfare Award for Best Music Director – Kannada for the songs of Bhajarangi. Romeo (2012) won SIIMA Award for Best Music Director. Kempegowda in 2011 won South Scope Award for Best Stylish Music Album apart from Kadiri Awards for Best Music Director. Birugaali (2009) received South Scope Award for Best Music Director.
Arjun started his career as an assistant to many veteran music directors of Kannada film industry. At first he worked under V. Manohar and K. Kalyan and also worked as a keyboard player for around 30 films. 2006 movie ‘Autograph please’ marked his debut as an independent music director. Yet he had to struggle almost 3 years to get the first successful album in the form of Birugaali in 2009. The following year the chartbuster songs of Sanchari were released cementing his position among talented young music directors of Kannada film industry.
Kempe Gowda in 2011 proved to be the most successful album till then. “Khali Quarter" of 2013 movie Victory is a chartbuster which went viral over net. He is to debut Tamil film industry through Jai Hind 2 – a trilingual movie and sequel of successful movie, Jai Hind. Recipient of several awards including state awards and Filmfare, Mareyalaare is his upcoming Kannada project. He also certifies that a meeting with A. R. Rahman in 2012 changed his life forever.
