Arjun Bijlani Biography

Arjun Bijlani is a popular Hindi television actor known for playing Rithik Raheja, Mouni Roy’s husband in the series - Naagin. Arjun is the male lead of the popular show. Associated with the show since 2015, it’s one of the popular television soaps of Hindi television right now. People love his regal avatar as Ritik Raheja in Naagin, and most recently in November 2015 he was chosen as the most dashing hero of mini screen by Bollywood Life readers through polls. He beat Siddhant Karnick, Siddharth Nigam and Ssharad Malhotra in the polls.

Arjun was born in Mumbai on 31 October 1982. He made his debut in the year 2004 with the series Kartika and has been associated with television for more than a decade. He has also acted in a few Bollywood films in character roles - Full Phukre (2012), I Guess (2012), Caught in the web (2013) etc and Direct Ishq is his upcoming Bollywood release. Though he has played numerous roles on mini screen, Naagin proved to be his real break. Actor Mrunal had a chance to pick up the role. However at the last moment, Arjun became lucky to get this role, which proved to be his best break in the past 10 years of his television career.

Though Naagin is a female oriented series, Arjun accepted the role solely because it’s Ekta Kapoor's production house which has given many hits earlier. Earlier Arjun has portrayed ‘Shekhar‘ in Colors’ popular drama ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’, Aalekh in Left Right Left and as Mayank Sharma in Miley Jab Hum Tum. Arjun married Neha Swami in 2013 after dating 5 long years. He signed the series, ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’ and Naagin, soon after his fatherhood. So he feels the birth of his son has brought him good fortune.
